How Hard Will Coming of Drugs Be?
Question by : How hard will coming of drugs be?
I have been smoking cannabis daily for around 4 years now. I have done other drugs, but not daily. About 2 years ago I started taking cocaine. I do not take cocaine daily, maybe around 2 – 3 times a week. Things started to get worse when my grandmother passed away last year. I’m not blaming me taking drugs on her death, but I became quite depressed after she died and the drug taking got worse. A couple of days ago, I realized that I needed some help, for the drugs and maybe for depression. I thought I was beginning to feel better, but the fact that I am always high on something probably hasn’t helped my judgment. My mum suffers with bipolar, and this is something I would not wish to discuss with her. She knows I have smoked cannabis but I told her that I had stopped,(she probably still knows but I just cant tell her how bad it has got). I do want to come off drugs and make something of my life but they make me feel so much better I don’t know how hard this is going to be.

Bi polar issues run in families. Perhaps you are self-medicating? If so you have to think if you want to use pot or if you want to use psychotropic medications or both. The cocaine has no therapeutic value whatsoever and you should stop that because it can actually cause you to have more problems.
