Talking with former addicts in recovery will help you on your way to what they call “recovering from addiction”. That is, being clean and sober — without alcohol or other mood altering substances.
I don’t know of the level of your drug use, but you might seek a detox center or hospital psych ward, to get the drugs out of your system safely. Withdrawal can be dangerous for some drugs or drug use levels. Some places have hotlines available by calling “211” for help.
Good luck with your recovery. Quitting is difficult but a life without addiction will eventually be worth the struggle.
