Coke Addict: Cocaine Abuse – Fact, Fiction and the Truth

Cocaine, blow, white powder or snow is a derivative made from coca leaves, is used to addict and take money from the rich and poor. What can you do to help another break their coke addiction and regain their lives? This is how to get through to someone even if the can’t find their next hit.

The Steps to Recovery

First get the facts, not opinions or beliefs
Next learn how to do a family or friend intervention
Third, find an appropriate detox and rehab program that actually works. Expect results
Lastly, don’t put off taking some form of action because you are waiting for them to hit bottom. Bottom’s can be instantly created for another and true help offered

Drug pushers and friends who help supply the grams and ounces of white powder to users are bankrupting the drug abusers until they hit bottom, go broke, or become criminal. Often drug use brings strangers together who really don’t care about each other but are just there for the dope. Beware of people brought together by drugs.

Don’t wait for a coke abuser to stop on their own. Cocaine creates a false feeling of superiority and confidence that is mistaken for competence. Many need help to achieve successful recovery.

Families are usually the last strong supportive network who band together to insist another’s substance abuse ends.

Cocaine Facts and Myths

Facts:

Coke abuse creates dependence mostly due to the slow or rapid decline in health, character or mood. The drug cycles them up then brings them further down each time
it is removed rapidly from the blood stream but the byproducts of its metabolism are fatty and can get stuck in the fat cells of the brain and other parts of the body. This can create long-term drug cravings and poor recovery
it hijacks the body and sends it into an emergency reaction that is very stressful to the person depleting them of energy and nutrients that get eaten up by the drugs reactions in the body

Myths:

Coke is not natural as many believe. It is processed with kerosene and even the purest coke is a chemical derivative that scars the heart and blood vessels every time it is used
it is not only a rich person’s drug. Even the wealthiest of people have sacrificed or lost their careers and family due to the addiction subverting values. Average people have their lives devastated when they get hooked

If addiction has already taken its toll and they’ve been to many rehabs already, don’t quit. I’ve met cocaine addicts who went through 19 full rehab programs before they found the one that helped them end their addiction. Choose rehab programs and methods that work for the person you want to help.
