I am worried about a friend of mine. He used cocaine many years ago and has stopped for several years. I have suspected him of using again since I got a call from another friend claiming to have seen him use. He is up all night and irritable at times. Very talkative at other times, sniffs and seems stuffed up a lot, never has money and owes a lot of money, hasn’t had a job for long and loses many jobs…What are the signs of current use and withdrawls? Please answer if you have used or know someone who uses. I want to know REAL signs please. What can we do to stop him if so?

They’ll be VERY irritable and tense. Lots of jerky movements as if they are after drinking a lot of coffee.

They’d probably get very ancy when you ask them a question about the matter as well. People on coke tend not to be the most civil of folk.
