Why Do We Invest So Much Money Into Anti-Marijuana Commercials?

Question by Josh: Why do we invest so much money into anti-Marijuana commercials?
When Marijuana isn’t nearly as addictive as cocaine or heroin?
Yes, more people smoke marijuana then do cocaine or heroin or any other hard core drugs… but they are also more addictive and worse for your body.
Compared to some hard core drugs, marijuana’s effects are minimal and the ‘high’ isn’t nearly as good.
So why does America invest so much money into these ‘live above the influence’ commercials.
Yes, but if we don’t want a nation of druggies, then shouldn’t we focus on more hard core drugs like Cocain, Herion, LSD, etc., rather then a none addictive, no MAJOR side-effects causing, Marijuana?
I didn’t say we should legalize it.
I think that if alcohol and cigs are legal (which are worse for you then Marijuana), then it shouldn’t be as strict of a law as it is.
But we don’t invest a single dollar in worse drugs for you. I guess that’s what I don’t get.

it is because they do not want a nation of druggies!!! Think i do not want to be in a Nation were everyone does drugs!!! Sadly i do not think the commercials help much,,, if they did less of my fellow teens would be doing drugs. I do not do them, i just feel bad for those who do……..
