How to Put Yourself to Sleep for a Very Long Period of Time?
Question by ezi: How to put yourself to sleep for a very long period of time?
I just need to sleep for a really long time. By that I mean about 14 hours or more. Preferably about 20 hours. I don’t know anything about sleeping pills but I think you only get 8 or 10 hour ones and taking more than you have to is taking an overdose or something…can someone explain those to me please? And does anyone have any other ideas on how to get to sleep for so long naturally? Would I have to crash myself and not sleep for about 4 days on end?
Thanks.

Avoid using sleeping pills, and if you do, consult a doctor first.
It is better to do it naturally.
Keep away from all sorts of caffeine or guarana, as these can mess with your sleeping pattern for several days.
Get plenty of exercise to make yourself physically tired. Drink plenty water while exercising, but not right before you sleep. Do not eat right before you sleep, but 2-3 hours before.
Avoid high sugar levels and stick to slow carbohydrates.
Make sure your bedroom is free of distractions, and has the right temperature ( slightly cool ) and as dark as possible.
If there are distracting noises, try using soft earplugs.
Your body should now get all the sleep it needs on its own.
