I can’t believe this is considered “new” news of any sort. I remember hearing the exact same thing over 23 years ago when I first went through my basic police officers course. It was well known then and has been since that time, both among my colleagues and anyone else I have talked to. Old news.
Not surprised. Anything that is passed around as much as paper money is very dirty. Coins also.
